Frequently Asked Questions (In-Person Race)

Parking is FREE to all registered runners! Park in Lot 2, enter off Phantom. Find parking maps & instructions HERE.

There are two opportunities to pick up your race bib! You can skip the race day lines by going to early packet pickup on 12/19 at A Snail's Pace Fountain Valley (8780 Warner Ave, Fountain Valley) from 3:00-6:30pm. OR, you can pick up your bib on race day at the event beginning at 6:30am.

You are also able to pick up someone else's bib as long as you show a picture of their ID, such as a drivers license.

Due to overwhelming demand for the 1 mile event in 2025, if you are registered the 5K you are not to run in the 1 mile unless you are accompanying a child age 6 or under.

  Sorry, no pets allowed. 

Yes! We ask that you start in the back and if your child is 18 months or older, we ask that you register them as well. We have found that children around 18 months and older want the medal also. 

Yes! Wheelchair athletes are always welcome on the course. Please contact info@ocmarathon.com for more information or specific questions.

When registering, you have the option to donate toward the Salvation Army or Kids Run the OC Foundation. Other ways to donate are to set up your very own fundraising page, or bring a toy to the Toy Drive on race day!

No, unfortunately we cannot ship outside of the United States.

A virtual run is nothing more that doing the distance from wherever you are. You do not have to be in Southern California or even in the U.S to complete our Run For A Claus. We ask that you complete your run at any time prior to or on the actual date that we are doing the in-person run. There is a “Submit Your Results” link where you can upload your time/distance and even pictures of you doing your run.

We will be sending your swag bag that includes your Santa Hat, beard and 12th anniversary swag item TBD as well as your medal starting in December 2025 (after the in-person race has finished).
