Will I be able to run the mile with my kids if I’m registered for the 5K?

Yes. Your timing chip will only be activated for the race that you are registered for.

Where do I park?

 Race Day Parking Details – parking is $13 per car, which you can pay one of two ways: The preferred way is to prepay, using the Park by Plate system. Please enter the parking structure off of Campus Drive (avoid turning on West Peltason and Pereira). By using the Park by Plate system, you simply pull in and park your vehicle. Your license plate will be in the system and you will not be ticketed. Click here to Park By Plate.   You can also pay cash on race day at the Kiosk located at the main parking entrance off Pereira. There may be long lines that could be quite slow.

How do I “Run for a Cause”?

 When registering, you have the option to donate toward the Salvation Army or Kids Run the OC Foundation.

Are strollers allowed on the course?

 Yes! We ask that you start in the back and if your child is 18 months or older, we ask that you register them as well. We have found that children around 18 months and older want the medal also.

Are pets allowed on the course?

 No pets allowed.


What is a Virtual Run and how does it work?

A virtual Run is nothing more that doing the distance from wherever you are. You do not have to be in Southern California or even in the U.S to complete our Run For A Claus. We ask that you complete your run at any time prior to or on the actual date that we are doing the in-person run. There is a “Submit Your Results” link where you can upload your time/distance and even pictures of you doing your run.

We will be sending your swag bag that includes your Santa Hat, beard and Holiday socks as well as your medal starting around the 1st of December.

If I am out of the country, can I still do it?

 Yes, there is an add-on in the registration to add international shipping to your order.
